This workshop will introduce performance-based research methods for analyzing and writing about your own practice and the discoveries you make that can help propel the field of intimacy choreography forward. This workshop will guide participants in talking through their findings in the first phases of writing a research article or book chapter, then explain the submission and editorial process to increase transparency regarding publishing scholarship in theatre and performance.

Space in Digital Workshops is limited to ensure the best experience for our participants. Workshops are live; we currently do not offer recordings of our workshops. There is no waitlist for Digital Workshops. Classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and class sizes are limited to ensure educational quality.

The Best Practices Digital Workshop or a comprehensive TIE workshop (e.g., Workshop Weekend) is a prerequisite for most other Theatrical Intimacy Education Digital Workshops. This ensures that all participants are familiar with TIE's specific approach and vocabulary, thereby ensuring educational quality for all participants.
