Theatrical Intimacy Education offers a Digital Workshop on TIE’s tried-and-true techniques for bringing theatrical intimacy work into the classroom and rehearsal studio, handling tricky casting situations, and writing a policy for your department or theatre company.

Theatrical Studio Techniques picks up where Best Practices leaves off. This workshop will explore vulnerability in a professional and respectful manner, as well as the distinction between discomfort and boundaries. Casting and policy will cover industry protocols, our casting Best Practices, policies, and procedures, as well as boundary-breaking issues.

All participants, regardless of price, receive the same 6-hour workshop.

We cannot offer refunds, but if you need to make an exchange for credit or transfer to another workshop 14 days in advance of your scheduled workshop for a small administrative fee, click here

If you are a Global Majority (BIPOC) artist or a member of another underrepresented group, please consider applying for The EDIII Scholarship.

Needs-based scholarships are also available.

Space in Digital Workshops is limited to ensure the best experience for our participants. Workshops are live; we currently do not offer recordings of our workshops. There is no waitlist for Digital Workshops. Classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and class sizes are limited to ensure educational quality.

After you complete your registration, you will receive an email with additional information and helpful links. You will receive an email with the link one day prior to the workshop.

The Best Practices Digital Workshop or a comprehensive TIE workshop (i.e., Workshop Weekend) is a prerequisite for most other Theatrical Intimacy Education Digital Workshops. This ensures that all participants are familiar with TIE's specific approach and vocabulary, thereby ensuring educational quality for all participants. If you have taken another workshop with Theatrical Intimacy Education and would like to discuss which Digital Workshops may be right for you, please reach out!
