This workshop will cover the role of the Intimacy Choreographer for Live Performance, such as theatre, dance, and opera. We will cover the pre-production and production process, an introduction to physical storytelling techniques, choreography drills, common recipes, working with the team, transcribing and documenting intimacy, and troubleshooting.

Space in Digital Workshops is limited to ensure the best experience for our participants. Workshops are live; we currently do not offer recordings of our workshops. There is no waitlist for Digital Workshops. Classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and class sizes are limited to ensure educational quality.

After you complete your registration, you will receive an email with additional information and helpful links. You will receive an email with the link one day before the workshop. 

The Best Practices Digital Workshop or a comprehensive TIE workshop (i.e., Workshop Weekend) is a prerequisite for most other Theatrical Intimacy Education Digital Workshops. This ensures that all participants are familiar with TIE's specific approach and vocabulary, thereby ensuring educational quality for all participants.
