Kevin Inouye is a professional fight choreographer, SAG-AFTRA performer and stuntman, and instructor of acting, movement, and stage combat. He’s a Certified Teacher and Theatrical Firearms Instructor with the Society of American Fight Directors, Certified Teacher with the National Michael Chekhov Association, Margolis Method Instructor Level II, and author of The Theatrical Firearms Handbook, The Screen Combat Handbook, and a chapter in Physical Dramaturgy. His company, Fight Designer, LLC has been providing the tools and training for safe, effective staged (and screened) violence for over two decades, and training in theatrical intimacy and consent-based practice has been a welcome way to continue to make work both safer and better, whether in the classroom, stage, or screen.
