Andrew Barratt Lewis is a Director, Intimacy Choreographer, and Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre. He currently teaches at Weber State University where he specializes in Musical Theatre Acting, Voice, and History and has recently joined Theatrical Intimacy Education as an Assistant Faculty Member. He holds a BA in Musical Theatre from Weber State University and an MFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Central Florida. He previously taught at West Texas A&M University and Northwestern State University of Louisiana. Andrew most recently directed A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING at Thingamajig Theatre Company in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and Intimacy Choreographed RIPPED at Good Company Theatre. Other credits include RICHARD III, AS YOU LIKE IT, and A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (TEXAS! The Outdoor Musical Drama); SPEED DATING TONIGHT! (Amarillo Opera); PLAID TIDINGS, CONSTELLATIONS, BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS, and DEATHTRAP (Amarillo Little Theatre). He is the Musical Theatre Initiative Coordinator for Region VIII of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (kcactf-8.org) and the Director of Communications for Musical Theatre Educators’ Alliance (musicaltheatreeducators.org).
